Living overseas and planning to apply for a license or employment in Florida? There is no need to travel to Florida. ACT Biometrics is able to convert a single fingerprint card into livescan and submit it to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), which will send the results to the requesting agency (DOH, AHCA, DCF, APD etc. Here are the steps:
- Click on the link below to make a payment, choose a date, and provide information.
- Go to the nearest law enforcement office or fingerprint service provider to get ink-rolling fingerprints done. Applicants can download the FD-258 fingerprint card form online from the FBI website or request one to two cards from ACT Biometrics.
- Mail the ink-cards (FD-258) to ACT Biometrics (8469 W. Oakland Park BLVD, Sunrise, FL 33351) and email us a passport style photo if we have to send your fingerprints to either AHCA, DOH, APD, or DCF.
- Once ACT Biometrics receives the cards, they will be converted into livescan and submitted to FDLE, which will forward the result to the requesting agency (Department of Health, Board of Nursing/Medicine, Board of Education etc.)
- ACT Biometrics will send a Transaction Confirmation Number to the applicant.
- Applicants without a social security number must inform the requesting agency (DOH, AHCA, Board of Nursing etc.) about the situation. We will provide assistance in this matter as needed.
