Live Scan refers to an electronic fingerprinting process used to conduct background checks. This service is essential for Florida residents applying for licensing or employment within the state. Applicants will need an ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) number and, if applicable, an OCA (Originating Case Agency) number (for applications with agencies like DCF, CDC, or APD). A fingerprint technician will roll your fingerprints and electronically submit them to law enforcement, which then sends the results to the appropriate requesting agency based on your ORI number.

We also provide ink-rolled fingerprinting and electronic print-out card services for applicants who need to apply for licensing or employment in other states, such as the Ohio Board of Nursing, California Board of Nursing, and many more. Applicants not residing in Florida will require a card conversion service.

Some individuals need a copy of their own FBI report for reasons such as:

• Challenging information on their record or ensuring it is up to date
• Seeing what appears on their own FBI check
• Addressing other court-related matters
• Obtaining a work visa or student visa
• Achieving foreign residency or traveling to another country (such as making Aliyah)
• Personal reasons
• Pursuing international adoption

To use our FBI Channeling service, you must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. Otherwise, you must go directly to the FBI. Our FBI Channeling service cannot process requests for employment or licensing purposes for jobs within the United States. We offer same-day service for an additional cost.

Applicants for licensing or employment with a Florida agency who do not reside in Florida may send one or two fingerprint cards to us for card conversion service. If you live in the United States, choose "out-of-state service"; applicants living overseas must choose "living abroad services."

We offer affordable Level 1 background checks and pre-employment drug testing services to help employers maintain a safe and compliant workplace while ensuring business efficiency and productivity. Florida agencies, such as AHCA, DOH, APD, and DCF, do not accept name-check-only screening. These fingerprinting services are used for tenant screening, nannies, or other personal uses.
